Description
When a CCTV installation needs to run analogue video signals over existing UTP structured cabling rather than traditional coaxial cable, the Hikvision Balun Pair with Pigtails provides the conversion. One balun goes at the camera end and one at the DVR or monitor end, converting the signal so it travels reliably over the Cat cable already in the building without needing to replace or add coaxial runs.
This is a practical and cost-effective solution for upgrading older installations, extending reach, or making use of existing network cabling infrastructure. The pigtail connections make installation clean and straightforward. M1 Technologies is an authorised Hikvision partner and supplies balun pairs and other installation accessories as part of complete CCTV system supply in Namibia.
