Managed IT Services for Namibian Businesses

What Managed IT Actually Covers

There is a difference between calling someone when a machine breaks and having someone responsible for the machines not breaking. Managed IT is the second one.

You pay a monthly amount, we look after the equipment, and the incentive sits with us to prevent problems rather than bill for them. For most businesses between five and fifty staff that works out cheaper across a year, because the expensive events are the ones nobody saw coming.

The problem with hourly IT is that it makes bad news expensive to report. Staff put up with a failing machine because nobody wants to authorise another call-out. Under a managed agreement they simply tell us, we deal with it, and the small problem never becomes the day the server does not come back.

We support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, business email, network equipment, printers and the security systems we install. Because we also supply the hardware, we can replace what fails from stock rather than ordering it after the fact.

What Is Included

  • Monitoring of servers, network equipment and workstations
  • Operating system and security patching on a schedule
  • Antivirus and endpoint protection managed centrally rather than left to staff
  • Backup configuration and monitoring, with restores actually tested
  • User support for staff, remote first and on site when it needs hands
  • Asset register, so you know what you own, how old it is and when it needs replacing
  • Monthly reporting on what happened and what needs attention

Common Questions

What is the difference between managed IT and normal IT support?

Normal support is reactive and billed by the hour. Managed IT is a monthly agreement where we monitor and maintain the equipment so fewer things break, and support is included rather than charged per incident.

Is managed IT worth it for a small business?

It depends how much you rely on the equipment. If a day without email or the server costs you real money, then yes. If you have three laptops and no server, break-fix support is probably more sensible and we will tell you that.

Do we need to replace our equipment first?

No. We start with what you have and give you a replacement plan by priority, so you can budget rather than replace everything at once.

Can you work with our existing IT person?

Yes. Plenty of clients have someone internal who handles day to day and use us for infrastructure, monitoring and the work that needs specialist hands.

What happens to our data if we leave?

It is yours. Documentation, passwords and asset records are handed over. We do not hold client systems hostage.

Find Out What Your IT Is Actually Costing You

We start with an audit of what you have: machines, ages, licences and backups. You get that assessment in writing whether or not you sign an agreement.
