Connectivity and Wireless Solutions
A short note on what this is, because the word connectivity gets used loosely. M1 is not an internet
service provider. We do not sell you the line. What we do is build and run the network on your side of it,
which is where most connectivity complaints actually come from.\
If your internet is fine at the router and unusable in the back office, that is a network problem and it is
the sort of thing we fix.
Business Wi-Fi that covers the whole building
Consumer routers are built for a flat. They are not built for a double storey office with brick internal walls, or a warehouse with steel racking. We design Wi-Fi around your floor plan using proper access points, so coverage is even and devices hand over cleanly as people walk between rooms.
- Access point installation, ceiling and wall mounted, indoor and outdoor
- Wi-Fi extension into problem areas such as back offices, boardrooms, yards and workshops
- Mesh and controller-based systems for buildings that need more than two access points
- Separate guest networks, so visitors are not on the same network as your accounts machine
- Site surveys before installation, so you buy the right number of access points instead of guessing
Corporate and SME network setup
A full network setup covers everything between the incoming line and the device on the desk. We size the switching, set up the router and firewall, segment the network so cameras and payment devices are not sharing space with staff laptops, and document what we built.
- Router, firewall and switch installation and configuration
- Network segmentation and VLANs
• Server cabinet setup and equipment mounting - Wired and wireless integration, so both behave as one network
- Documentation handed over at the end, not held hostage
CCTV camera network connections
Cameras are network devices and they fail like network devices. Most CCTV systems that drop at night are not faulty cameras, they are underpowered switches, bad PoE budgeting, or a network that was never designed to carry video. We build camera networks properly, with PoE switches sized for the load and cabling that will still carry the footage when you add four more cameras next year.
Site-to-site wireless
Where trenching cable between two buildings is not practical, a wireless bridge links them. This works well across a yard, between a main building and a guardhouse, or between two premises within line of
sight.
Working with your ISP
We are happy to be the people your ISP talks to. When a fault is genuinely on the line we will help you prove it, and when it is on your network we will fix it rather than leave you between two suppliers
pointing at each other

FAQs about Connectivity Services
No. We are not an internet service provider. We design, install and manage the network inside your building and work alongside whichever provider supplies
your line.
Almost always coverage or capacity rather than the line. One router cannot cover a building with internal walls. A site survey will show where the signal drops and how many access points you actually need.
Sometimes. If there is a data point near where an access point needs to go, it is straightforward. If not, you will need cabling, and we do that too.
Yes, and you should. A guest network keeps visitors off the network your business runs on.
Yes, with a wireless bridge, provided there is line of sight. We will confirm on a
site visit before quoting.
Yes. We supply, install and configure cabinets, patch panels, switches and routers, and we stock the brands we install.
Yes, for projects that justify the travel. Send us the scope and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
