Access Control and Time Attendance Systems

Know Who Went Through Which Door, and When

A lock tells you who has a key. Access control tells you who went through which door and when, and lets you remove a person from the system in seconds instead of changing barrels.

We supply and install door access systems for offices, warehouses, server rooms and gated premises across Namibia. Fingerprint, card, PIN and face recognition, from a single controlled door to a full site with dozens of entry points.

The same terminal that opens the door can record attendance. For businesses running shifts or paying hourly, that takes the argument out of payroll entirely, because the record is the record.

Access control works best when it is not an island. We integrate it with the CCTV we install, so an entry event and the footage of that event sit together, and with your network so records are backed up rather than living on one terminal that could be stolen.

Common Questions About Access Control

1. What is the difference between access control and a normal lock?

A lock tells you who has a key. Access control tells you who went through which door and when, and lets you remove a person in seconds instead of changing barrels.

2. Is face recognition reliable in a Namibian working environment?

Modern terminals handle dust, bright sun near entrances and staff wearing PPE far better than earlier generations. Where the environment suits fingerprint or card better, we will say so.

3. Can access control handle payroll?

It produces the attendance record. Whether it feeds your payroll directly depends on which payroll system you run, and we will confirm that before quoting.

4. What happens in a power cut?

That depends on whether the lock fails secure or fails safe, which is a fire safety decision as much as a security one. We walk you through it on site.

5. Can you add access control to doors we already have?

In most cases yes, depending on the door and the frame. A site visit confirms it before anything is ordered.

Stop Changing Locks Every Time Someone Leaves

We will walk the site with you, confirm which doors suit which reader, and cover the fail safe and fail secure decision before anything is quoted.
