Most businesses do not go looking for IT infrastructure. They go looking because they are moving premises, or because something keeps failing and nobody can say why.
M1 designs, installs and supports the physical and digital infrastructure Namibian businesses run on. That covers the cable in the wall, the network on top of it, the systems that watch the doors, and the people who keep it all working afterwards.
We are based in Windhoek and have been building this kind of infrastructure since 2020, for offices, warehouses, schools, government departments and private clients.
What we build and support
Data points, Cat6 and Cat6A copper, fibre backbones between floors and buildings, server cabinets, patch panels and labelling. Done to a standard so the next person who opens the cabinet can read it.
Business Wi-Fi designed around your floor plan rather than guessed at, network setup and segmentation, camera network links, and wireless bridges between buildings. We are not an internet provider. We build and run the network your provider connects to.
Microsoft 365 and business email, website hosting, cloud servers and backups that are actually tested. Bought from someone in Windhoek you can call on a Friday afternoon.

Fingerprint, card and face recognition terminals, electric locks, intercoms and turnstile integration. The same terminals record who arrived and when.
Once it is built, someone has to keep it running. Monitoring, patching, backup management and user support on a monthly agreement rather than an invoice every time something breaks.
Why it matters that one company does all of it
This is the part worth reading if you are choosing between suppliers.
When cabling, network, cameras and support come from four different companies, every fault becomes an argument. The camera installer says the network is dropping. The network company says the cameras are faulty. The cabling contractor left two years ago. Meanwhile nobody has recorded footage from the loading bay.
We do the whole path, so there is nobody to point at. If the cameras drop overnight, that is our cable, our switch, our PoE budget and our problem. You get one number to call and one company that cannot pass it on.
That is also why the network work and the security work sit in the same business. Cameras and access control are network devices. Most systems that fail were never network problems anyone planned for.

You get a quote that itemises points, materials and labour, so you can see what you are paying for instead of a single number at the bottom of a page.
On completion you get the test results, the labelling schedule and the documentation. It is yours. We do not hold client systems hostage

Where we work
Windhoek is our base and where most of our work is, including, CBD, Rocky Crest, Dorado Park, Khomasdal, Klein Windhoek, Northern Industrial, Pioneers Park and Southern Industrial. We travel to the coast and northern towns for projects that justify it.

No. M1 is not an internet service provider. We build and manage the network inside your building and work alongside whichever provider supplies your line.
Yes. Plenty of clients start with cabling and add cameras or support later. The advantage of one supplier only matters if you want it.
Per point and per metre for cabling, per device for security, monthly for support. A site walk gives us what we need to put it in writing.
Where it is worth keeping, yes. We will tell you plainly when something is at end of life rather than quoting around it.
