M1 is a Hikvision supplier and installer in Namibia. We hold the equipment we install, which matters on the day a camera dies or a door reader stops reading and you need it working before close of business.
Hikvision is the line we build on because the range covers everything a Namibian business actually needs, from a four camera shop system to a site with face recognition terminals, turnstiles and thermal perimeter cameras, all managed from one interface. Sticking to one ecosystem also means the cameras, the access terminals and the recorders talk to each other rather than sitting in separate silos.

The Hikvision Range We Stock
CCTV and Surveillance Systems covers cameras and recording. IP and analogue, bullet, dome, turret and PTZ, ColorVu for low light, AcuSense recorders that filter out animals and moving branches, and thermal bi-spectrum cameras for perimeters.
Access Control and Time Attendance covers doors and people. Fingerprint and card terminals, face recognition, electric strike and magnetic locks, no-touch exit buttons, intercoms and turnstile modules, with attendance reporting from the same hardware.
Alongside those we supply and fit the AX Pro wireless alarm range, control panels, keypads, PIR detectors, outdoor sounders and battery backup power supplies, so an alarm can be added to a camera and access installation without a second contractor.
Because we also do the structured cabling and the network, the PoE budget and the switching are sized for the camera load rather than assumed. That is the single most common reason security systems drop overnight.

Yes, and that is the main reason we build on one manufacturer. Cameras, door terminals and the AX Pro alarm range run together and can be viewed and managed from a single interface rather than three separate apps.
We do both. Most of our work is commercial, offices, warehouses, retail, schools and lodges, but the same equipment and the same install standards apply to a private residence.
Only if it is specified that way. We size battery backup for the recorder, the switch and the door hardware so cameras keep recording and doors keep behaving predictably during a load shedding window. Ask for it at quoting stage.
Yes. Hik-Connect gives you live view, playback and event notifications on a phone or tablet. We set it up and hand over the account rather than keeping it under our own login.
Often. We check what is there, tell you honestly what is worth keeping and what is not, and quote on the gap. We do not insist on ripping out working hardware.
